Fiction That Strikes Like Lightning, a craft essay about flash fiction, is now up at Smokelong Quarterly, one of the best flash fiction publications out there.

The essay has examples of brilliant flash fiction by Kathy Fish, Ethel Rohan, Faith Gardner, Matthew Salesses, Kristine Ong Muslim, and many others, and mentions publications such as decomp Magazine, Safety Pin Review, and Flash Fiction International.
