Prose poem Not Quite Dark Yet is up in the new issue of Eye to the Telescope, guest edited by Joanne Merriam (to see the poem, scroll down the page).

This prose poem is a homage in haibun form to the classical haiku Not Quite Dark Yet by Japanese poet and painter Yosa Buson (1716-1784).

Thank you so much to Joanne for selecting this poem for her guest edited issue!

Do check out the other fine poems in the issue.

    1. Thank you so much, Kathy! Very happy to hear you liked it.

The original poem is so beautiful and complete I can only expand on it and borrow from it, not try to improve it.
