It’s autumn and the light in Norway is cold and clear. I like it, even though the wind is chilly and the sky is grey.
Something about the autumn light, maybe the muted colors or the crisp wind or the flying leaves, makes the sky seem tall and free.
I’m trying to get as much of the daylight as possible. Soon we’ll just have light a few hours per day.

I love the autumn light, too. The low angle of the sun, the brightest blue skies of the year, it’s energizing. Getting dark and wet here, too, but like you I don’t mind it.
It’s beautiful and dramatic. π The sunny days in autumn seem so prettier than the sunny days of summer. It must be the low angle of the light. π
I have always thought of autumn as a time of great beauty but also of a fresh energy. Maybe it’s the way the wind smells, peppered with the falling leaves. And then it seems to me there is created a mystery. A mystery of change and something not easily explained. Something like the light in the photograph.
Fall does indeed feel both fresh and a change in the pace of nature. And it has beautiful light.
